Feldene Medication - Uses and Side Effects
Feldene is nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug. Feldene alternative name is Piroxicam. It is works by reducing hormones that cause inflammation and pain in the body and reduce the pain, inflammation, and stiffness caused by rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis. The usual maximum daily dose is 20 mg. In the case of menstrual cramps, an initial dose of 40 mg is sometimes taken followed by daily doses of 20 mg for three to four days. Feldene and other NSAIDs work by inhibiting the action of certain hormones that cause inflammation and pain in the body. These hormones are called prostaglandins.

Side Effects of Feldene Medication
Feldene common many side effects may include is abdominal pain or discomfort, anemia, constipation, diarrhea, dizziness, fluid retention, gas and vomiting. This drug may rarely cause serious (possibly fatal) liver disease. Others common or rare side effects may include is angioedema (swelling of lips, face, tongue and throat), anxiety, asthma, belching, black stools, blood in the urine, blurred vision, bruising, colicky pain, coma and confusion.
