  • Why am I writing this ebook? Think about what you intended to do once your writing was completed. You may have hoped to use it to promote your business or to promote you in some way.   • Do I enjoy the writing process? Some people are very excited when they first start writing and then tire of it quickly as they see the commitment that is required.   • What will be different once my ebook is completed? How will your life change as a result of becoming an author? Depending on your goals and business model, having an ebook can change the way you do business completely. You will be perceived as an expert in your field and may be asked to speak to others about what you know. You can make more money explaining what you have written than you can on the actual writing itself. You may have a whole new career just because you are seen differently through the eyes of other people in your field.

    • Once you have answered these questions you can resume your writing in the way that makes sense for you and your style. Getting input from someone who has already written many ebook can be helpful.
